Join a Group at the Center for Children

Sick of getting in trouble in school? Does it seem like everyone fools around but you are the one who gets caught? Ever wonder why other kids don’t seem to like you?

These are common feelings! And there are ways to change how things are. The Center for Children offers groups to talk about problems like these. Boys and girls are put in groups with other kids their own ages.

What happens in group? For one hour a week, we get to know one another, doing an activity that everyone agrees on. Sometimes we practice new ways to handle feeling mad or ignored, or talk about how to get along with different people.
