Center for Children Benefits Program

The Center for Children offers a complete benefits package. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, short and long term disability, retirement savings, paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick and holidays, employee recognition program, and more.

Medical Insurance

We offer medical insurance through CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield for all regular full-time employees after 90 days of employment. HMO, Op Out Plus and PPO plan options available.

Dental Insurance
Dental insurance is offered through CareFirst BCBS to all full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

Vision Insurance
Vision insurance is offered through CareFirst BCBS for regular full-time employees after 90 days of employment. The benefit offers annual eye exams and paid glasses and lenses.

Basic Life Insurance  
Regular full-time employees are provided with basic life insurance coverage after 90 days of employment . The benefit is 100% paid by CFC.

Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance
We offer Short Term and Long Term disability insurance through PRUDENTIAL to regular full-time employees after 90 days of employment. The STD and LTD Plan pays a monthly benefit if you are totally disabled because of an illness or injury and are therefore unable to perform your job.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
The 401(k) retirement saving plan is offered through Mutual of America for all regular full-time employees effective on their start date. The contributions are pre-taxed.

Supplemental Insurance
Supplemental insurance is offer through AFLAC to all full-time employees.

Time Off Benefits
Center for Children provides paid time off benefits including paid holidays, paid vacation, sick time and the ability to earn 4 personal days a year, to all full-time employees.
